The Specialist Money Advice Service
At SPCU, we put people first and understand that for some, debt and finance can get a bit overwhelming at times, one line of credit leads to another, then another and so on. This is why we have partnered with the Scottish Police Federation (SPF) and the wonderful team at CAB Motherwell & Wishaw to create ‘The Specialist Money Advice Service’.
What is ‘The Specialist Money Advice Service’ and what does it mean for you?
It’s a FREE, independent, impartial and confidential service that understands the challenges and dynamics of being part of the police service and dealing with debt, and it provides much more than just financial support and guidance.
You can use The Specialist Money Advice Service to explore options, including any benefits and grants that maybe available to you (including support in challenging decisions and tribunals).
Also included in the service are:

- Identifying what you may be entitled to and how to apply
- Challenging decisions and helping with tribunals including disability
- Money advice
- Employment advice
- Housing
- Energy
- Immigration
This service is FREE, IMPARTIAL, INDEPENDENT AND CONFIDENTIAL.
